Are you a seasoned Registered Professional Planner (RPP) with a passion for policy planning and a knack for working with property developers? Feeling stuck and open to join a firm where you can become a senior leader?

Our client, an award-winning, multidisciplinary firm with a reputation for excellence, is seeking a Senior or Associate Urban Planner to join their Toronto team. They seek someone with 5-9 years of privaet sector experience, working with property developers, with a knack for policy plannign research and reports.

About the Role

As a vital member of their team, you will leverage your 5–9 years of private sector experience to:

  • Conduct policy research and analysis and prepare reports supporting development proposals.
  • Oversee land use planning tied to municipal and regional studies.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (planning, design, landscape, technical teams) to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Lead community engagement initiatives and provide strategic planning advice to clients and consultants.

What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • RPP designation (in good standing) and a degree in Urban Planning.
  • Deep familiarity with Ontario’s planning and legislative framework.
  • A strong track record in developer-led projects, supported by excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • The ability to foster client relationships and mentor emerging talent.
  • Business development experience is a plus but not mandatory.
