Seeking people interested in joining the Board of Trustees for Tampa's oldest community theatre.
Last year, Carrollwood Players - a 38-year-old non-profit organization - changed it's structure from an operational board to a governing board. This was a major step as we grow into a more mature non-profit. The old board was responsibly for much of the day to day operations -- the new board will be responsible for guiding the development of the corporation, with staff and other volunteers to handle the day to day.
Our new Board of Trustees will start this summer, and I am reaching out to find anyone interested in serving. We are embarking on a major change, and this new Board will be at the vanguard -- we want to build our own building.
Benefits of serving include:
- Developing and expanding your skill set - leadership, marketing, fiduciary, management, and more.
- Growing your network of contacts, personally and professionally
- Giving back to the community through performing arts
- Experiences that enrich your resume
