UPDATE: This story is now LIVE on Bustle. Please read and share.
Hey everyone, I'm still looking for Millennial Baltimore women willing to share their ideas for police reform in Maryland. This is for a Bustle story in response to Maryland's task force meeting in Annapolis during the General Assembly session (https://www.baltimoresun.com/…/bs-md-policing-group-20160111…).
I've gotten some very insightful responses from women on the street in Sandtown-Winchester (Freddie Gray's neighborhood) and via Twitter and Facebook, but I still need more. I understand and respect how scary voicing your opinions can be, especially if you're a WoC living in a neighborhood known for its police presence (and brutality.) But we can negotiate ways to protect your identity and still give your statement credibility. I'll need some combination of your first name, age, profession, neighborhood, and photo—again, a combo, so some but not necessarily all of these things.
Thanks to everyone who's referred sources thus far. If you could continue spreading the word, I would really appreciate it. I plan on returning to Baltimore next week during the week (probably Thursday) for in-person interviews.
