SEEKING GOD'S KINGDOM FIRST.

FOUNDATION SCRIPTURE:

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."

HOLY SPIRIT, HAVE YOUR WAY.

Shabbath Shalom everyone!

How often do we find ourselves pursuing the temporal things of this world - wealth, success, pleasure, status - while neglecting the eternal?

But in today's foundation verse, Jesus Christ reminds and gives us a profound truth/promise of how it should be. He says WHEN WE MAKE SEEKING GOD'S KINGDOM AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS OUR TOP PRIORITY, EVERYTHING ELSE FALLS INTO ITS PROPER PLACE.

Making The Kingdom of God our greatest aim on earth, brings clarity of purpose to our lives. Instead of being distracted and overwhelmed by the many fleeting, "unholy" desires and "objects/objectives" that are "introduced" into the world now, just for our attention, we must find singular focus on what truly matters - LIVING IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD AND HELPING TO EXPAND HIS REIGN ON EARTH through our desires, thoughts, words and actions.

When we seek first God's Kingdom, we discover that the things we need - provision, strength, wisdom, peace, the right marriage patner, "holy desires ", ultimate career, business,- are supplied by our loving Heavenly Father, in accordance with His perfect will and timing for our lives. Also, the burden of constant striving and anxiety will be lifted as we learn to trust in God's faithfulness.

Seeking God's righteousness neefs our intentionality. It means "willingly" striving to live according to God's standards, allowing The Holy Spirit to continually transform us into the likeness of Christ. As we do this, our love for God grows deeper and our faith becomes unshakable, we will experience firsthand, the goodness and greatness of aligning our lives with God's ways.

So let us reset our priorities today, dear LOVE CHILD OF GOD and stay consciously connected TO ELOHIM. Let us make God's Kingdom and Righteousness the unwavering desire of our hearts. For when we do, we will discover the profound simplicity and freedom of a life fully aligned with our Creator's highest purposes. Amen.

2) Heavenly Father, forgive me for the times I have sought after the temporary rather than the eternal. Today and always, I set my heart to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness above all else, in Jesus Christ's Name.

3) Almighty God, Help me to live in obedience to You, with faith that You will provide all I need as I put You first. In Jesus Christ's Mighty Name, amen.
