Today's devotional is from A Daily Taste of Proverbs

"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings" - 25:2.

God 'hides' things so you will seek Him for clarity and answers, and not simply rely on your own insight and perspective. This seeking cannot be passive or half-hearted, but must involve active asking, listening, and journaling in faith that God will answer. You cannot control the process, for God will reveal the answers when you are ready and have sufficient depth to grasp His revelation.

Are you seeking the Lord for any answers and direction right now? What specific issues are your current focus for answers and insight? Don't give up until you have what you need from Him. Read what David had to say about seeking the Lord in a time of need in Psalm 27 and be encouraged to seek with all your heart as you search out answers for your life and purpose.
