Seeking For Authenticity

When seeking for who we really are, challenges arise because of the need to throw off the older consciousness. Our deeper self brings these outworn aspects to our awareness. To accomplish this it often requires courage, strength, and conviction.
These resistive aspects can show up both internally or externally. For example, we may fear that we might lose something important in our life if we make the changes we are contemplating. Or we find that the people we value most in our life might put up barriers to the new direction we feel compelled to follow.
The deeper self that is encouraging us forward will always provide the strength and resources that we need in this journey.
Don’t allow challenges to define who you are and, remember this quotes by Martin Luther King, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moment of comfort and convenience but where he stands at times of challenges and controversy”.
