Seek Out Your Tribe!

I recently had an opportunity to watch The Tactical Games at JTAC Ranch in Mulberry, Florida. That was some bad ass gun slinging! The Tactical Games is where functional Fitness meets combat…their motto is: There’s No Off Season for the Tactical Athlete. They run events across the US and may soon spread overseas. The event in Mulberry was the inaugural event at the JTAC Range, a sprawling land mass with endless possibilities for training….and old-fashioned pain! There was no shortage of heart and passion, from beginners to professionals, it was intense. There were vendor booths with all the latest kit, and I met guys and gals I had not seen in years. I also got to hang out with some pipe-hitting Rangers who drove down from Savannah, on the weekend, to get their gun on…kind of made me teary eyed! I know what you’re thinking…how should I train…go watch an event, be a volunteer lane grader…it’ll all come back to you! Bottom line: Stop dying and start living, get back into shape, seek out your Tribe, and don’t waste another day!
