Seek God. Daily.

Seek God. Daily.

Hallelujah, Praise the Name of our Lord, Jesus Christ!

Greetings to all the saints and the entire body of Christ. We truly thank God for this platform where we can spread the Word of God and touch many lives. As we journey together, let us trust God for a fresh anointing. I am honored to bring this revelation to the body of Christ today. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus reminds us to "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness."

A couple of weeks back, I shared a message titled "Choose Jesus. Every Day" (See: https://shorturl.at/4zktf ). Today’s message is like a part two to that. As I sought the Lord in prayer, I was reminded of the importance of seeking God daily. This became clearer when an elder at our church told me that "she accepts Christ every single morning when she wakes up." The Word we are unpacking today came through a famous quote attributed to Einstein: "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." God used this quote to paint His message, and by the integrity of Scripture, we will challenge this saying from the perspective of the body of Christ.

In Psalm 105:1-10 (with our focus on verses 3 & 4: "Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always"), we learn the importance of "doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result," specifically in seeking God. Seeking God daily, although it may seem repetitive, transforms our lives. You may not physically see it, but you are certainly building spiritual strength that the enemy cannot withstand. Imagine how our lives would change if we would go to God every day. Going to God daily gives you the strength to dismiss the lies of the enemy and weakens his energy when he thinks of attacking you. You may appear ordinary, but within, you are building a warrior. There are situations that, if you look back, could have destroyed you, but because you held on to the mighty power of God, you are still here (I know I have those situations).

One fact remains: Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. As we continually seek Him, let us remember that it is not in vain. Many may wonder what "seek" or "sought" even means or looks like. In simple terms, it means you go to God for counsel and run to Him for all your needs. He may not physically come down and give you answers, but He will use people in your life to fulfill His plans (Psalm 115:16: "The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth he has given to mankind"). In Psalm 34:4, David said, "I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears." David was in a different state of mind, similar to what many of us may be experiencing, where you feel like prayers are bouncing off the ceiling or you feel unworthy to seek God's face. But by the order of the Lord and the authority of Scripture, I am here to tell you that even in your fears or troubled mind, God can hear you—you are not far off from God. Just one call of His Name and He's ready to listen; He is always waiting to hear from you.

Saints, we are going back in prayer this week to seek God's face with faith. He is indeed a rewarder of those who seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). The full verse says, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him." He is still a faithful God.

Our Prayer Point: "Lord, I am seeking your face today."

More Grace and Peace as we come to the knowledge of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ.

Amen

Thank you for this word of encouragement. An interesting interpretation of Einstein’s ‘insanity’ quote. Diligent seeking, by definition, must be repetitive.
