Seeing through the clutter-Budget 22

Announcement of budget 22-23 led to sudden spurts of Judgement by Media, Political analyst and Market analyst.?I decided to kill the noise by using good old “charts and table”.

Took the Revenue spend budget figure put it table to see how Money is flowing, As Interest payment is a non-discretionary spend (No way to wiggle out), I needed two point of views one with the Interest payment which is included in general service and other one excluding Interest.

Data if analyzed in right context has power revels story in split wide open. ?We can clearly see how money is flowing “from (-ve) and to (+ve) ” different heads between two periods!! with two point of view Total vs. ex Interest.

PS:- The exercise is just for educational interest I don’t have any personal opinion or Judgement on Budget 22-23.
