Is Seeing really "Believing?"

Do you 'believe' in dreams? Believing is reality, right? But is it Really the reality? We believe in so many things in life but do we see all of them to believe? Think about it friends!
Do you believe in something that isn’t truly there but you just know it’s there. It has to be there. You are certain that it is there. You ponder over that it is the truth and it has to be the truth but you have not seen it. So what if you have not seen it there are many things in life which we have not seen as yet. Have you seen God? No but you believe in it. Have you seen ghosts? But you believe that the ghosts exist right? Do you see darkness? It is absence of light but we can't really see darkness.
I used to ask all these questions to my father whom I believed knows all the answers of life! He was a wise man and used to tell me what all exists in the world. The Sun, moon, ,stars, planets, plants, animals, living things, non living things all are there to see and believe. But I was always puzzled with stories of those things he said existed in the world like Santa Claus, fairies, demons, ghosts, unicorns, mermaids and so on and I was always intrigued about these 'unseen' characters of the tales I used to read and hear. I used to question my grand mother who told me stories of all these prices, princesses and kings and queens with myriad qualities and I would ask were they really existed and she would say there are few things in the world which we do not question. There may be myths and riddles in our life which we are conditioned to believe by the elders and seniors since childhood that becomes our mindset. This is not only about the myths but even in science we do not see many things which actually exist.
Can you really see air? Once I asked our Science teacher and then he smiled at me and said yes, you see those blue hues you see in the sky? that is because the Nitrogen particles scattering the blue light in the skies and that is part of air with only 21% Oxygen and 78% Nitrogen that we breathe. We can't see air but when we see wind or breeze we know it is the movement of gases from one end to the other. You see high tides and low tides on the oceans but do not we actually see the moon's gravitational force which makes tidal waves on earth, the bulges from the side of the moon cause high tides and farthest side of moon causes low tides, we remember all that from our science books but we have not seen. Same is the case of gravity which we do not see, but we know the force of gravity keeps us grounded and we can walk otherwise we would be floating in air like in the astronauts float in the space.
Same is the case with atmospheric pressure we feel but we can't see, the electromagneitc waves which cause so much of pull and push, we can see only when the Iron fillings get attracted to magnets but we do not see the force. We know atoms and molecules exist but we can't see them, as an Organic chemist we studied so much about 'optical rotation' of molecules but that is all scientifically proven and we accept it without actually seeing them.
We know only 5% of the universe is 'observable matter' which means the rest 95% is darkness and beyond our vision. Even we can not see beyond the visible range of light, we know ultra violet and infra red light exists beyond our visible range. The radio waves which runs the different frequencies exist and can be experienced but can not be seen by us.
We know there is an 'aura' of each body which exists but can't be seen. We know we have a 'soul' inside us which can't be seen, the 'mind' which works inside us can't be seen. Out of our 6 senses that nature has provided us only one sense is 'seeing' by eyes, but all other senses like tongue (taste), Nose (smell), Skin (touch), Ear (hearing and equilibrium) can be only felt. There is something called the 'sixth sense' of women, which is 'Extrasensory perception' (ESP) whic involves the reception of information not gained through the 'recognized senses' and not internally originated. Therefore there are many things in the universe which we can only feel and imagine but can't be seen and yet we believe that they exist.
