Today I passed my #AWS #DevOps #Pro exam. I'm very happy. But here's one thing that I realized while writing it is that at the top of every question, there was banner saying:

AWS DevOps Professional - Hamish Whittal

On about question 20, I noticed it. Interesting, that this little thing actually gave me motivation. I saw my name next to the title and believed at every question that I would actually pull it off. I was certainly calmer than in previous exams (nothing to do with the banner of course), but every question reinforced that this is who I was - A DevOps professional.

It's a small thing, but seeing it helped me believe it.

I'll be the first to say that having some qualification doesn't mean a huge amount without being able to do the work- certainly I've been a devops engineer for more than 20 years now. Getting the qualification in AWS technologies is gratifying though.
