A Seed Story - Yours and Mine !

I am here to tell you a story about a seed.

A seed was buried deep inside – away from the whole world for almost 300 days… it survived in a bowl of water, without a single ray of sunlight & an ounce of air.

On one fine day, it emerged out and saw the big fat world for the first time. It did not understand a thing around it, everything looked alien and bright. It cried it’s eyes out but a voice from within asked it to just let go and take a deep breath. It obeyed the voice and let go. Suddenly it was easy to adapt to this alien environment.

For few years, It was comforted by warmth and utmost care but suddenly one fine day it was thrown in the midst of other young seeds and it began to cry in a louder voice. However, when it saw that the other seeds were also left there without the warmth and comfort, it soon adapted to draw warmth from other seeds. Few days into this newer atmosphere, it started to enjoy its new company and started to learn to grow together.

From then on, the seed was encountered by more such unusual and unseen moments where it faced newer crowds and newer situations.

Surprisingly by then, it had learnt the art of adapting itself and brought its newer self every time.

The seed is none other than every one of us. This story is our story, from the day we were formed till today. All of us are constantly pushed into newer and tougher situations and every time, as human beings, we always adapt, overcome, discover and learn to see the opportunity to grow.

We have all sacrificed our past selves to become our present selves and we will repeat the same to build our future selves. Yes, we will... Every single day, Every single moment ! So let's take a moment to pat our backs and add a colorful feather on our lovely hats and continue to adapt ourselves to this latest challenge in front of us !
