See your business in new ways with AI, Analytics, and Fusion Applications together

Nearly two years in, the global pandemic still looms over our lives and livelihoods. Supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, and health and safety continue to affect business operations across the board in new and changing ways. To respond to this dizzying pace of change, you need to know what’s happening across your business at every turn and anticipate events before they happen.

This disruption over the last 18 months has shone a light on the artificial divides between different departments and has made it obvious that these silos are no longer sustainable. There is a clear need for one, connected enterprise where marketing, sales, and customer service are tied into inventory, logistics, finance, and human resources. We cannot make promises to our customers without knowing whether we have the right inventory on hand or the right people to provide services. We need to know if we can deliver goods and services on time, at the right price, while providing an exceptional customer experience.

These varied business functions need an easy way to connect with one another, share relevant data, and, together, drive timely and insight-driven decision-making. In our daily lives as consumers, we’ve seen companies shift production and start manufacturing new or modified items in response to changing demand throughout the pandemic. They’ve had to diversify their supplier networks and start producing closer to where the consumer is. We’ve also seen what happens when sales and marketing promote items that sell out quickly and start to disappear from our shopping carts or worse yet, orders get canceled after they’ve been placed.

To help you stay ahead of change and manage events outside of your control, we’re excited to announce the next generation of Oracle Fusion Analytics for our cloud applications. Register here to join our Oracle Live virtual event on November 2 at 12 noon ET.?During this keynote, you will learn about the benefits of our latest analytics offering for customers like you. University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) and Corsair Gaming will share their journeys with Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and Analytics, and how these solutions together helped deliver key businesses results and drove faster and better decisions.

UPMC is a $23 billion health care provider and insurer. Pittsburgh-based, this global nonprofit health enterprise is inventing new models of patient-centered, cost-effective, accountable care. The largest nongovernmental employer in Pennsylvania, UPMC integrates more than 92,000 employees, 40 hospitals, 800 doctors’ offices and outpatient sites. The organization implemented Oracle Cloud HCM, including Payroll and Talent Management, in 2019 and has been adding new capabilities like Analytics and the Oracle Digital Assistant at a rapid pace ever since. John Galley, CHRO, and Jane Boyer, Vice President, HRIS, will discuss how UPMC is in a very competitive spot from a labor standpoint, and how the pandemic has exacerbated the labor shortages in the medical field. They will explain how the organization is using Oracle Applications, Analytics, and AI to help them proactively identify employees who might be a flight risk, improve retention rates, ensure market-based compensation, offer better career paths, and foster diversity.

Another one of our customers, CORSAIR, will discuss their digital transformation and partnership with Oracle. CORSAIR is a leading global developer and manufacturer of high-performance gear and technology for gamers, content creators, and PC enthusiasts. Tom Cullen, CIO, will discuss how the gaming industry has been affected by the pandemic, fluctuations in customer demand, supply chain issues, and why the company decided to transition away from its existing on-premises system and move to Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications including ERP, HCM, SCM, and Fusion Analytics. Tom will share why CORSAIR is especially excited about Fusion Analytics, a solution that will help eliminate 80% to 90% of custom reports, help bring standardization across its different brands, and use AI to make smart predictions and recommendations.?
