At the end of this month, my experience at Verisure will come to an end. It was 11 fantastic years that have truly changed my professional and personal life.

I had the good fortune and privilege to lead teams across 9 countries spread over 2 continents. On my personal side, working with so many people with different cultures has been just amazing. During this time, traveling every week to be with the teams, I feel proud and lucky to say that today I have many friends spread around the world. On my professional side, what we have achieved together has been incredible. ?

This adventure started in Spain where we launched the transformation of the commercial organization together with the local team. Shortly after, I took over the responsibility in Latam (Brazil, Aregntina, Chile and Peru). Clearly one of the best - if not the best - professional and personal experience in my life.

Coming to a new place where you have to develop the business almost from scratch has been incredible. I could say that for many years Verisure Latam has been a key growth engine of the Group. Within a complex macroeconomic context, together we managed to position Verisure as a leading brand across the LATAM countries where we operate. After Latam, I have had the fantastic opportunity to get to know new countries and new cultures by taking on the responsibility as GM Nordics (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland), one of the most important clusters for the Group in economic and portfolio terms.

I am proud to say we have recruited thousands of people, moved families around the world, witnessed the growth of people we have trusted on, taking responsibilities throughout the Group, and that was the most beautiful thing a leader can acknowledge.

I could write much more about many anecdotes we have experienced with my colleagues and friends. But I am sure that many of you reading this post will smile when you remember some of these moments. We have suffered, learned, laughed, and won together.

I’d like to highlight 2 words here, key for me during these 11 years that I will always apply in the future: Humility and passion. Being humble is absolutely key when we arrive in a place that at first is not our home, our country and it’s necessary to get to know the people from a new country, where in the end you come to feel like a member of this new family. And passion is what Verisure does from the beginning. Passion not only necessary to meet our goals but also to take the business, the brand and the people to the next stage.

Now it’s time to thank some key people in these 11 years:

• To our Group CEO, Austin Lally , who trusted me from the very first day and gave me more responsibilities and also to Antonio Anguita , who had a huge impact for me over the years. Having reported these two top leaders has been a unique opportunity in my career.
• Thanks to my colleagues on the Group Executive Committee. It was a privilege to work closely with leaders like you, because of your experience and your values. Thank you Marta Panzano , Vincent Litrico , Nina Cronstedt , Cristina Rivas , Olivier Horps and Olivier Allender .?
• Of course, to my teams and their families around the world, who had often accepted to move far away from home, taking risks and trusting the company, this is with no doubt my biggest pride. Witnessing you all growing, fighting and succeeding in many aspects of your life has been incredible. Thank you.
• And I also wanted to thank the people who have made all this experience possible. Thanks to luis gil , who was absolutely key in my recruitment. Thanks to Jurjen V. from Bain Capital who supported me upon my arrival.
• Thanks to our shareholders, especially to Hellman & Friedman who have supported me from the first day and who I still have the privilege to collaborate with. Thank you Stefan Goetz , Adrien Motte and Philip Sternheimer for all the trust, for your closeness and your affection and of course thanks to Henry Ormond from GIC and also to Carlos Ortega and Pablo G. from ALBA Corp.
• Thanks to our millions of customers, to whom we offer protection and peace of mind with our products and services.

Now it's time for me to start a new chapter in my life full of enthusiasm and gratitude; I am looking forward to sharing some exciting news with you soon.
