See you at the EMS Annual Meeting 2022 in Bonn, Germany!

Model accuracy, high-resolution modeling, urban climate, open data: these are some of the core topics we will present at the EMS 2022 in Bonn.?

The EMS Annual Meeting is organised by the European Meteorological Society for scientific exchange in the field of meteorology. meteoblue will take part in the EMS Annual Meeting this year again, and will present 3 exciting posters on the following topics:

• Global verification of numerical solar radiation forecast
• Global verification of the 24-hour precipitation forecast of numerical weather prediction models
• High-resolution temperature downscaling for global cities based on satellite imagery, weather station data and NWP model data

There will also be 2 oral presentations on the topics of urban heat island mitigation strategies and open data policy.

• Urban climate: Verfication of urban heat island mitigation strategies in the Swiss city Basel
• Open data foster innovation and facilitate public-private engagement to create socio-economic value

The meteoblue team of 4 will be present from September 5th - 8th, 2022. We are looking forward to meeting visitors at our posters and presentations.
