This fall, the ButterflyMX community embraced autumn with a creative, seasonal activity — painting pumpkins together over Zoom! During this, and every, community event, we’re able to reinforce the existing bonds between team members and create new ones, while welcoming the fall season.?

Building community through creativity

Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships in a workplace can be a challenge. But through monthly community-building events at ButterflyMX, we create an opportunity to ensure that each team member feels connected to their coworkers and has a recurring opportunity to meet members of the community who they don’t work with on a regular basis.?

This October, we fully embraced the fall spirit and hosted a painting class where participants gathered virtually to paint a festive picture of pumpkins. The best part? All of the materials — from the canvas and paints to brushes and pumpkin-themed stencils — were delivered right to each participant’s doorstep.

And while we have an exceptional workforce, we don’t expect them to be expert artists! The event was led by an instructor who guided us through each step of the process. So, whether participants were seasoned artists or first-time painters, everyone had a chance to unleash their creativity and relax with coworkers while working on their masterpieces.?

Supplies delivered with care

Before the event, each participant received a thoughtfully curated kit.?

Inside, they found:

• A canvas ready for their pumpkin-themed artwork
• Paints in vibrant autumnal colors
• Brushes in multiple sizes
• A step-by-step guide to help bring their pumpkins to life

Having everything arrive prepared and ready allowed attendees to fully focus on the fun of the experience and de-stress instead of scrambling for supplies.?
