Never Bet Against New York

Today’s sessions hit on a wide range of important issues facing investors and allocators from all walks of life. We started the day discussing a topic on everyone’s mind - China - as Keyu Jin walked us through the “New China Playbook.”

Over the course of the morning, we had hundreds of billions of dollars of allocators on stage to talk about how to plan for the future in an uncertain market.?

It wouldn’t be a conference in 2023 if we didn’t include a session on AI, and Andrew Ng, May Habib, Ivan Zhang and Rob Toews gave us a comprehensive state of the union on the intersection of AI, machine learning and active investing.

And, of course, we were deeply honored to have Anita Dunn, Senior Advisor to President Biden, join us to talk about the two long standing book-ends of any SALT event: Foreign Policy and Economics.
