Security By Natural Defence

Today we leave inworld of uncertainty and more reliability on equipment’s. Have you ever thoughtof a question that whether your instrument is giving you correct information or its just being running on someone's input in system.

We as a security professionals always out check over a check to see that our instruments are

working with outmost hygiene. But still we didn't able to rule out any miss outs during span of time. Security is something that even a small miss out can cost you something which is beyond recoverable. There are number of examples in history where countries have lost war just because of small miss out. It also goes for business continuity where large corporate house bows down as they have miss calculated security arrangements.

Some people call is old school but it is the most effective methodology for securing any place is “Natural Defence”. We can define it as securing any area or perimeter with use of natural or geographical structure it is called natural defence. Best example that we can see is range of Himalaya which did acted like natural defence for India from ages against any intruder or cold winds.

Where we have to secure any area, we can combine technology with things like vegetation with thorns that does not require any kind of power source to keep working and along with that it add beautification to the area. It is simplest thing nut very effective and cost effective.

If any green field or brown field extension is happening then geographical surrounding like tree, water body, field can be considered which designing security of the area. As there are natural resources so they work without being compromised up to certain level. After that level you will have other resources to respond.

By taking such steps we are enhancing security cover while taking off burden on security equipment and manpower that we are inducting. ????
