Securing the future of Ballymore
KPMG has played a part in securing the future of Queensland rugby’s iconic Ballymore ground, which will see the development of the National Rugby Training Centre (NRTC) - the new national headquarters for women’s rugby, as well as a reinvigorated training base for the Queensland Reds men’s and women’s Super Rugby sides and other Queensland programs.
KPMG acted as the Real Estate and Financial Advisor to the QRU, which involved assessing a range of options for the proposed NRTC, to be funded by joint Federal and State Government grants, as well as other development options for existing buildings and spare land.
With both Federal and State Government funding now locked in, the the first stage in redeveloping Ballymore into a world-class elite sports precinct is set.
