It starts with Pre-Engagement Activities, to set the rules and scope of the project. Then, our team will start Intelligence Gathering from the customer’s environment for the penetration test. ITB’s team will also do Threat Modelling by analyzing the business assets that are most likely to be attacked. The last step before the Pen Test is to do a Vulnerability Analysis, to find flaws on the assets that could be used by an attacker. During the Exploitation phase, our team will try to bypass security restrictions, with the goal of finding the biggest impact to the organization with the least resistance. There will be a Post-Exploitation phase, which involves determining the value of the compromised machines and the control of the system. Final Reports will be produced and will show the results of the testing by criticality and additional recommendations.
