Sector Based Experts: Unleashing our Inner Mystic Meg - taking time to predict the future for our clients and staff
I had a fantastic Friday this week with my Teams Northern Managers team meeting. Last month I set them all the challemge of taking some time out each week to predict what the future would be like for their clients and staff. All had to do a 5 minute powerpoint slide detailling what they thought their clients would need and most importantly what our staff would need to deliver that. I challenged them to unleash their inner Mystic Meg and boy did they!
We were awash with ideas and commitment and make the future happen in a structured, sustainable and constructive way. Change can be perceived as a force for good or evil depending upon the planning process and the intent of the agent of that change.
We covered training, process and technology, but we also focused on our staff and supporting them to get through the now and deliver the future wow.
The session was a really positive experience and the energy and ideas from those presenting was a joy to behold and be a part of. So proud of my team and their march to deliver ever better standards for our staff and clients.
We are working on our Mystic Meg skills and thanks to the fact barbers are shut my hair is beginning to look like it anyway.
Take care and stay safe all. Be brave, be bold and manage in the moment.
