SEC's cybersecurity warnings take more urgent tone after hacks

We agree with the recent SEC article whereby the Commission calleds on firms "to reassess their capacity to prevent and respond to data breaches." At Weaver we work with numerous firm in performing a range of services for cybersecurity. The lesson learned here if an indivisual can hack into the SEC's servers, they can hack into yours. Lastly, the SEC stressed that "Malicious attacks and intrusion efforts are continuous and evolving, and in certain cases they have been successful at the most robust institutions and at the SEC itself." In closing take your cybersecurity issues seriously and dont assume you not vulenerable.
