There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.

There are no secrets to success. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure.

What are the most CRUCIAL lessons I learned working for companies?

- Arrive early, even if you’re doing nothing, don’t be late for anything.

- Document everything. Emails, conversations, communication.

- Be friendly, approachable and humble in the office.

- Network within your own company. Meet engineers, customer service, it, marketing. Grow your support network.

- Become a subject matter expert in at least one thing. It will make you invaluable.

- No-one cares how hard or how long you work, if you're making money.

- Make your career decisions for the people who will attend your funeral one day; not the people in that office.

- Be kind. Even if it seems like the person doesn’t deserve it.

- Know your worth and keep a pulse on the job market, not to switch jobs, but to know what you should be reaching & asking for.

- Keep your personal life at home. I know this is a hard one but I’ve found it’s necessary.

? Agree? Disagree?
