?? Most cash buyers aren’t buying luxury homes – The most common price range for cash purchases is $500K–$750K, well below the citywide median of $1.1M. Meanwhile, mortgage buyers are more likely to target higher-priced properties.

?? They’re not house flippers or pied-à-terre seekers64% of cash buyers plan to use their next home as a primary residence, while only 2% are buying a vacation home.

?? Not all cash buyers have trust funds – While some do, 51% saved over time to buy without a mortgage, and 68% won’t receive parental help, compared to 49% of mortgage buyers.
