The Secrets to Growing Your Email List

If you don't figure out a better strategy, you'll continue to feel stuck and frustrated, watching your email list (and business) stay exactly the same.
But don’t feel bad, because I’ve made all of the email list mistakes you can think of and have had to grow my email list from scratch.
I have figured out that creating a blog that readers can subscribe to is an excellent way to collect a large email list over time.?
Use these 3 key strategies:
1. Consistency: Have a regular content creation schedule so that your readers know what to expect. This could be weekly blog posts, videos, or podcasts.
Go a step further and try having a monthly theme for your blog. From there, you could start creating an opt-in incentive per month related to this monthly theme and then share it within all of your blog posts for that month.
2. Focus: Don't overwhelm your readers with too many choices. Instead, focus on one thing and make it easy for them to take the next step (such as signing up for your email list)
At the end and at the center of every blog post, add a clear call to action. When your readers click it would request for their emails to get a lead magnet for instance.
3. Great Headlines: You don’t want to stop growing your list and then send spam or irrelevant stuff to your subscribers. Show them you care by creating helpful content… and this starts by spending some time creating headlines that will attract readers in the first place. This can be the difference between someone clicking on your article or moving on to something else
Studies reveal that on average person receives over 40 emails per day. So, there is only a 1-in-40 possibility that your subscriber will open up the email. If people don’t open your emails, the rest doesn’t even matter.
Doing this will not only keep your subscribers happy (and subscribed), but will also motivate them to share your content with their peers and colleagues.

By using these key strategies, you can start to see a real difference in the number of people signing up for your email list.
Certainly, there are thousands of other things you can do to grow your list, but there’s a lot you can achieve with what I mentioned above, especially if you’re busy or just getting started.
