Secrets
When things are hidden, they are at risk of being revealed. Secrets can put you in jeopardy and subject one to blackmail. Secrets are concealed truths that when revealed can cause disruption, great hurt and turmoil. Secrets are therefore not good in ones reality. They can keep us from our true potential and stifle our development.
One must be honest with one’s self first. Then one is able to be honest with others. This is the power of truth! You may have heard the cliches, “honesty is the best policy” and “the truth will set you free”. These are more than sayings. They ring true to all who practice them.
Facing ones truth and mistakes early on can release one to pursue life with energy and vitality.
We live in a society of secrets, the false sense of security of Keys, Locks, Pass Words and Firewalls. We have convoluted mechanisms to protect our identity. All this is quite unnecessary and inappropriate. If we reveal that which we hide and keep secret, we may find that the threat we face today would be neutralized so tomorrow would bring the freedom of more profitable pursuits and peace of mind.
