The secrets of advanced robot construction ?

The other day I listened to p1 at radio Sweden and there a program about the consciousness. Are we able to take active decisions and not being steered by some hidden neural support processes at some extent? I believe people are afraid to understand that they are not 100% in control of their actions. But no need to be worried about this? Just as in all other robotsystems there are supportsystems that work together to get this robot moving and performing actions and what a relief NOT having to take active action as a human just to get from a to b impulsing all muscles to work together. Big bonus as a human not having to conduct all that planning the robot has to perform ??. ?By building robots we learn a lot about our human brains and the hidden subsystems that are needed.
