Secret Wraps Up in Paris & Looks Ahead!

We followed up ETHCC Week in The City of Light with our last big event on Monday and Tuesday of this week. We had a great time, made a lot of important connections, and shared our Secret mission with everyone we came into contact with. But the work never stops, as we’re already preparing for what’s ahead. Let’s take a look!

Our final event from ETHCC Week took place on Saturday, July 22 at On-Chian Chaos. This was a special event organized and hosted by Secret Network, which showcased an interactive demo of Secret VRF. This fun night of networking gave attendees a look at how Random Number Generation works, while also giving them hands-on experience with gaming on Secret.

Secret VRF is an important new network feature which allows for on-chain RNG. It’s extremely important not only for users, but for developers, many of whom are committed to building with privacy. We’ve covered it quite a bit over the past couple of months, but there’s more to come. Dive into Secret VRF today, and be on the lookout for more, coming soon!

We shared Secrets at the Nebular Summit! This two-day event happened July 24 - 25, and was Secret’s last stop in Paris. We were proud to sponsor the event, which brought together developers, artists, engineers, and Web3 enthusiasts from around the world, for two days of panels, workshops, and more.

We hosted a booth on both days of the conference, where we engaged with attendees and shared our experiences, as well as our vision, of what Web3 can be with privacy. We also featured SCRT Labs Founder and CEO Guy Zyskind, who spoke on Privacy as a Service. He shared some alpha on what’s to come for Secret Network, so check out his talk on YouTube today!

As our team rests up from ETHCC Week, we’re already planning our next round of IRL events! Secret Network will hit the road in August and this time, we’re heading to Toronto for Canada Crypto Week. The big week kicks off August 14, and we’ve confirmed our participation in two different events: ETH Women and the Blockchain Futurist Conference.

ETH Women is a female-focused, inclusive online and IRL event happening August 15 - 16,? that brings together some of the top names in Web3. Our own Lisa Loud, Secret Foundation Executive Director, will take the stage at this fun event, which also features a hackathon for developers of every level.
