The Secret To Winning The Game Of Business

The Secret To Winning The Game Of Business

You ready?

Here it is:

Give more.

That's it.

Give so much that your prospects would feel silly saying no.

Make your offer such a steal that people think they're scamming you.

Here's an example:

Let's you're running a typical weight loss offer.

Some people sell diet pills and think that's enough to stand out.

Then there's you, the person who knows all about offers.

You don't just give them a few pills.

You also write up a personalised diet plan based on their favourite dishes.

Tell them you'll offer 1-1 coaching twice a week for 3 months straight.

Offer to create a workout plan that fits into your prospects daily routine.

You even rent them an expensive bike for their cardio sessions.

And finally, give them a price that feels like a steal.

Would you be willing to pay $20 for everything I just mentioned?

Of course you would!

I wouldn't recommend charging so low for such a lucrative offer.

The point of this illustration is to show you how important a good offer is when it comes to making sales.

And why are sales so important?

Well, if no ones buying anything from you, you don't have a business.

Some people worry too much about logistical issues before they've even made a sale.

Focus on selling first.

Then solve all the other problems you think you'll come up against.

Why?

Because with sales, you have cash flow.

With cash flow, you can fix a lot of problems that will arise in your business.

Furthermore, you need to find out if people actually want what you're selling.

You do that by getting sales.

Simple, right?

Anyway, here's how the principle of giving ties into service providers.

Let's sat you're a freelancer who's just sent 100 cold emails to prospects.

How would you stand out?

If you're emailing a top CEO, chances are they're being pitched everyday by other freelancers.

For you to stand out, you need to go the extra mile.

How do you do that?

By giving them so much free value that they'll only ever remember you.

If you were to reach out to someone with prewritten emails and a new landing page, you'd stick out like a sore thumb.

Does this take work?

Yes. A lot of it.

But that's the point.

Business isn't supposed to be easy.

You are competing against everyone else who does what you do.

There are freelance copywriters who are earning $500,000 a year.

And there are other freelance copywriters charging $50 for one-off jobs.

If you want to win this game, you need to be better than everyone else.

To be better than everyone else, you need to give more.

Once you make giving enormous value a habit, it'll become who you are.

It's not easy, but it's what you have to do to get ahead.

Hope you found this valuable.
