The secret to your competitive advantage as a leader is simple, it’s in what you practice!
Here’s the thing, consciously or unconsciously, we’re always practicing something…whatever we think, feel, and do repeatedly becomes our habit and therefore the programming of our leadership.?
My question for you is what are you practicing??
AND, is what you’re practicing inducing more stress or it is producing satisfying success??
Research shows that:
?? 60% of Senior Leaders experience burn-out,
?? 72% admit that their mental health impacts their performance?
?? And 75% report having high levels of stress
And yet, many leaders just keep pushing through seeing stress, sacrifice, and unhappiness as a part of the job. Am I right??
Chances are you’re one of them and I want you to know that I see you, that I know your struggle AND ALSO that you no longer have to sacrifice everything to maintain the success you’ve built.?
Satisfying Success Requires Deliberate Practice?
When we watch elite athletes like Serena Williams, Simone Biles, or LeBron James perform, it’s easy to believe their greatness is a natural gift. We see them make the extraordinary look effortless, and we tell ourselves, “They were born for this.”
But here’s the truth: greatness isn’t born—it’s practiced.
Every Olympic medal, every game-winning shot, and every flawless performance is the result of countless hours spent practicing, failing, and refining. These athletes are relentless in their pursuit of mastery, and what sets them apart is their commitment to consistent, deliberate practice.

In leadership, much like in sports, we often admire success without seeing the work behind it. The hard part isn’t the one big, bold moment; it’s the daily grind—the deliberate practice of skills, mindset, and discipline that paves the way for sustainable peak performance.
Athletes have coaches to guide them and a playbook that makes the difference between good and great.
Do you have a leadership playbook that makes you great and produces satisfying success ?
I’m talking about the tools, beliefs, and high performing habits that drive how you think, how you lead, and how you perform under pressure.
Greatness is a Habit?
In the words of Aristotle, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” The greatest athletes live by this principle. Their practice is not about perfection, but about cultivating habits that lead to sustained success.
Same is true for us as leaders. It’s built through small, intentional actions repeated over time. The more you practice the habits of high performing leadership the more natural they become, and the more consistently you will lead with excellence.?

or any other high-performance habits we’ve been teaching in our New Science of Success Masterclass, I want to invite you to consider at least one habit you’ll practice this week.
