I also think having a reliable team is key. If loan officers are stuck doing others people’s jobs they aren’t out lead generating. If they’re fighting with underwriting over lack of knowledge in guidelines. If processing isn’t reviewing files and submitting whatever the borrowers upload. If the loa gives up speaking to every borrower and the lo has to take over gathering conditions. Without competent ops the rest fails.
