The Secret to Team Success
Whenever we speak to leaders, we get this...
"I just want everybody on the same page."
And I'm like, "Great, what does the same page look like?"
You know that people are looking for alignment, they're looking for people who are here for the same reason there. Where the same page is more of an analogy or metaphor for getting everyone who wants to be here for the right reasons. Who shares the philosophies and principles of the organization that it's here to, serve the clients at the highest level of whatever it is that that organization wants to do.
It's like a, it's more of a mindset initially of what is the same page. Leaders just want people to be here that want to be here and want to do what we're doing and want to do it together.?
Why have everyone on the same page?
It accelerates your ability to actually have the impact that you want to have.
When everyone's in alignment, you don't burn through resources as much you don't burn through people as much. You don't burn time, energy, money, and people.
When we get people on the same page, and sharing that and being able to feel like they're contributing and involved in the work, we don't burn through people.
Therefore, you also don't waste time you don't waste energy, and you don't waste money in the business. And money can be associated also, with the people, if they're leaving and we are having to recruit all the time. There's a massive cost to the organization for having to replace people. And in a world where we're having a war for talent, just finding somebody is hard enough.
This is critical to understand, the war for talent needs to start inside our business, not outside our business.
So one of the huge things is, is making sure when you're leading by example, in your organization, that you're creating an organization that people want to be a part of, and that you're creating a leadership structure that people want to want to better say follow. In that, right, and the culture lifts everybody up. People leave the organization because of their leaders, and if they don't have relationships in that organization they're more likely to leave.
So if you're not leading by example, you're not getting everyone metaphorically or whatever, on the same page, you're gonna burn through a lot of resources and a lot of people and a lot of churning going on, therefore, you're working longer and harder to get equal or less than results than you're getting now instead of actually doing less, for more, you're doing more for less.
So, why does it work then?
There are no conflicting agendas, no overlap, and no waiting for someone to tell them what to do. They can make smart decisions and have a framework to operate within.
You can allow?learning?and?coaching?moments to happen. This gives your business momentum.?Your team can see the?future?of the business and this allows them to see themselves having a future in the business.
Your team is involved in the work and involved in?decisions?about the work.
Wouldn't it be great to get to wake up every day and get to do the work you love, with the people you love to do it with, and for the people, you love to serve?
You won't have to worry about your team.
They are all on the same page.

UGGGHHHH!?
How frustrating is it when you're trying to explain something to someone, you know what you're trying to say, but you just can't get it out in a way that lands with the other person with the level of potency that you're (now desperately) trying to articulate it??
You know it and embody it fully, you believe in what you're 'trying’ to say SO MUCH... but you just can't access the words that REALLY explain what you're so strongly feeling??
In fact, you're butchering it.? And you're losing them... nope, now you've proper lost them.?
Yeah, us too, and a bunch of people we've been working with lately.?
And I've been noticing a couple of things:?
The potential loss is catastrophic to the life of your idea, business, whatever it is you're trying to get across.?
How much time, money, energy and opportunities might you be letting go – or not even putting yourself in 'danger’ of even recognizing in the first place – if you can't drop the axe when the universe says 'swing'??
Is it possible that time, money, energy and opportunities are attracted to structure and clarity, and not so much fluff and chaos??

And how intrigued would YOU be if someone was able to right there, on the spot, tell you ALL about:??
… with clarity, alignment, direction and focus??
Would you want to know more??
And would you want someone to feel the same about you and your business??
