You receive an award you feel successful. You get a promotion you feel successful. You accomplish your goal, you feel successful.??
Can that alone be the reason for feeling Successful?
In my interaction with people, I have always wondered when and how the focus on Success became so prominent. Ask anyone, everyone wants to be Successful.
???? ?????????????? ?? ?????????? ???? ???????????
???? ?????????????? ?? ?????????? ???? ???????????
???? ?????????????? ?? ?????????? ???? ???????????????
If Success was a state of being, then it is what others think of you. Like, I may say Shah Rukh Khan is very successful.
If Success was a state of Doing, then you should be successful every day, as you do something every day.
But truly speaking Success is a State of Feeling. Success is felt not thought. And we program our brain to feel successful only on special occasions like a promotion or a new job or receiving an award.
What triggered this thought that I felt like sharing with you this week?
One of my coachees is an amazing artist along with being a Senior?IT Professional. Over the years she has painted over 100 paintings. Now, she has kept these in her closet waiting for the ?????? ???????? inspiration that will be the blockbuster. When do you think she will feel like a successful artist??
Do you realise how we often keep our talents hidden and keep waiting for success to walk in?
Some of you may be good at writing, maybe athletics, maybe painting, photography, singing, playing instruments, etc and you hold back and keep waiting for the one BIG DAY for it to make you feel successful.
So, when Aparna Pathak shared this, we decided it is time to make it happen. Be successful as an IT Professional and be Successful as a Painter. With a little nudge, she took the leap to host her first-ever painting exhibition. And she could sell her paintings. For the first time, she felt successful as an artist. Not only she felt successful, she was the happiest and on that day, we celebrated her!
This reinforced the importance of ?????????????????????? in our life. Celebrations make life more memorable and build little milestones in our journey to our bigger goal.?
Why do we wait for occasions to celebrate??

Let me ask you, do you wait for occasions to feel sad and upset? No! You can feel sad, upset, and failed in an instant.
And you wait for others’ validation to confirm that you should celebrate.
Can we Break the Pattern and bring in a new perspective?
Can we develop a compulsive behaviour to celebrate every small win in our life?
Even psychologically, this is proven. Celebration creates a positive impact in the brain.?
As you walk the path of Leadership, every day you will encounter enough reasons to feel unhappy and unsuccessful. Can we still identify the small wins even if most things didn’t do the way you wanted??Can we make a conscious effort to feel Successful?
??Remember,?

As you walk the path of CXO, take charge of your success, and take charge of your teams success.

?? Journal your everyday success before you wind up the day
?? Celebrate your team members for every small breakthrough they get
?? Encourage others to celebrate so that you start creating a positive impact.
