Secret strategies, what will win for outbound in 2025 alongside AI


It's no secret AI is coming on the scene quick, how you can become "AI proof," and still make great sales:


  1. Stop being so excited - excitement is great for your baby reveal or your wedding, not so much for your prospects because it creates a flight or fight response. Instead, we want to lean into a calm tone and know when to lower our pitch during certain questions.
  2. Polite is great, but overly polite reps still lose - when you show that you will drop everything for your prospects in an instant, they can feel the neediness and desperation. Instead, we want to put ourselves eye level with our prospects, understand the importance of our time being just as valuable as yours. This is one of the biggest ones I would say.
  3. Leverage AI to make your job quicker, not easier - AI is an absolutely great tool for helping you find data quick, crafting up an email template and things like power dialing. This does not mean you should lean on AI 100%, you must draw the line. We want to connect with our prospects in a human and emotional way, with the assistance of AI to allow us to do it quicker.

Knowing how to pull emotional strings

Why it works and how you should do it:


  • Earlier I mentioned know when to use a softer tone, this is where we lean into empathy and concern, being able to show that through our tone. Pace it out, lower your voice and lean into this to pull emotional strings on your prospect
  • Know when to use more of an "upward" tone, especially when introducing yourself so that you can make yourself sound super familiar and recognizable to your prospects
  • Understand that at different parts of our calls we are utilizing a more curious tone vs a more aggressive tone vs a more empathetic tone vs a more silly tone

Understanding how to structure a call is key, but our ability to tap into human emotions is going to beat AI all day
