Have you considered the energy you’re bringing to workplace interactions?

Most people try to justify their poor tone and attitude with the words they say. But if we’re being honest, we can all see straight through someone's words and feel their energy and sincerity behind what comes out of their mouth.

Kind of like when a kid's mom forces them to say sorry.
?
Is it the right thing to say? Yes.
?
Did they really mean it? Probably not.
?
This applies just the same to adults in the workplace.
?
You can’t just “say the right thing” and expect a positive response.
?
You have to check yourself and the energy you bring to the interaction.
?
If you want to spark passion in your people, it needs to be clear that you’re bringing that same energy.
?
If you want your team to work with an upbeat attitude, you can’t recommend it with a poor one yourself.
?
The energy you want to see in your workplace starts with the energy you bring.
