Secret Sets the Stage for Privacy on Ethereum

Following a successful 10 days in Paris, the Secret team returned ready to work, and anxious to tackle the next round of IRL events. As we prepare to hit the road again, we’re also busy with a major announcement that has the Secret ecosystem buzzing like never before. Let’s dive into all this, and more.

We teased some exciting news in Paris last week, and this week revealed that news with the announcement of Secret Ethereum! This latest network initiative is meant to support the Ethereum community in accomplishing its mission of protecting confidential data from the radical transparency of public blockchains. SCRT Labs Founder and CEO Guy Zyskind recently commented on this new initiative:

“Privacy is a common need across all chains, and we need to go to the developers and meet them where they are. This will bring more activity to Cosmos and level up the possibilities in blockchains.”

BIDSHOP_io is a great example of a project currently deployed on Ethereum that is now benefiting from Secret’s privacy tech, and there are surely many more to come. Phase Zero of Secret Ethereum is currently in production, and Phase One is planned to be completed by the end of 2023. Dive into the blog below to learn more, and stay tuned for further updates!
