The "secret sauce" to write irresistible copy that converts your most stubborn prospects into die-hard customers.

Often when clients come to me about marketing their service.

I kind of have to take everything they've got and throw it away

And ask...

"What does your market actually want?"

What are the people that you're selling to actually want?

One of the best ways that I found to do this is to come up with a promise, a "hook" before you create the product.

Write the hook before creating the damn product.

Because oftentimes I would see people, especially folks who are really passionate about what they do, slave away at a product for a month, or years.

Desperately want to teach people about...

"How to train your turtle to do back flips."

And then go out into the market just to find out that nobody wants the damn thing.

That's why I always advise clients to sell their audience what they want and then give them what they need later.

Nobody cares what you want to sell them, they care about what they want to buy, and to do this you need to appeal to the primal desires of your market.?

What do they want deep in their lizard brain they might not even know themselves?

And actually, primal desires are often 100% irrational human beings.

By the way, every single person including myself is an incredibly irrational creature.

As Mark Twain likes to say

There are two reasons why a man buys something and the reason he tells his wife.

Pretty funny.

I like to say there are two reasons a man buys something, the reason he buys it, and the reason he tells himself, the way he justifies it afterwards.

But it's always going to be based on emotional emotional reasons why we buy things. So before you go out there and spend thousands of dollars on marketing, make sure you figure out the primal desire of your market and give it to them.

Thanks!
