The secret recipe for success!
Every single day we are flooded with post like "How to…":
… be success!
… be a great leader!
… get rich!
… how to be hired to a billionaire job!
Well… There are no secret recipes, and the ones that worked with others, usually do not work with us. Yes, we can learn the lesson from someone that achieved it, but saying “it worked with Mr(s). X so it will also work with me” is – somehow – crazy!
We are the sum of our experiences. This means that everything we go thru in our life, shapes what we are and how we react. Every single decision, each action, any moment, and the way we deal with them, transforms us (and will continue to do it) as like the wood is worked by the craftsman.
What to do?
Just try to be the best you can be; never cease trying to be the best you can be. That’s in your power. – John Wooden
How to behave in the challenging time?
Adversity is the state in which man most easily becomes acquainted with himself, being especially free of admirers then. – John Wooden
How?
Be true to yourself. Make each day a masterpiece. Help others. Drink deeply from good books. Make friendship a fine art. Build a shelter against a rainy day. – John Wooden
And if the struggles continue?
Don’t give up on your dreams, or your dreams will give up on you. – John Wooden
Where am I?
Success comes from knowing that you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming. – John Wooden
When I get there…
Don’t measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your ability. – John Wooden
