In 2021 the Rookie Awards received over 4000 entries from aspiring digital artists around the world. The winners represent the very best aspiring digital artists as selected by the judging panel which include some of the most influential and respected experts in their creative and technical fields.

As we are starting to think about next years Rookie Awards we thought we'd take the opportunity to invite companies that have never been part of the awards before to apply for our 'Career Opportunity' category.

Any company that works in CGI, from VFX, Arch-viz, Automotive, Games to Digital Fashion and anything else in between is eligible to put their name in the ring.

Where do we find all this talent?

From every corner of the globe. The Rookie Awards is arguably the biggest contest for artists looking to make their big break into creative industries. We have a lot of self-taught artists, but the majority come from leading schools and colleges with whom we have close relationships.

How does a Career Opportunity work?

Studios partner with The Rookies by offering a career opportunity at their company. This can be an internship, mentorship, portfolio review or even an interview. It's totally up to you. The best part is, the opportunity can be geographically based, discipline-based or diversity-related.
