Is This Secret Fear Holding You Back?
Hey,
What’s stopping you?
What’s holding you from taking your next steps in Real Estate?
If you were to write down everything that’s stopping you right now, the list would have just 2 things on it.
The more motivated and driven you are, the fewer excuses you’ll have.
And sometimes there are genuine reasons why now is not the right time.
But here’s the thing.
Most of what you’d write on that list are likely to be superficial factors.
With a bit of coaching and some tough love pretty much all of them could be struck off that list.
In fact, good coaching would get you to focus on all the reasons why you MUST get started in real estate.
But even with that…
…there’s something that might still hold you back.
I’ve seen it a lot.
Successful, motivated, capable professional people who want to release themselves from the control their W-2 has over them.
They see that real estate is a good option to provide them both time, money and freedom.
They do their research…
…then do some more research…
…and after that they find more stuff to research.
It’s natural for bright, intelligent folk to try and understand things like this.
Unfortunately there’s so much content out there…
…it’s far too easy to get consumed by research and never actually get started.
Why?
Because it seems like there is always something extra that they need to know.
After seeing this time and time again, I started to wonder what the REAL reason was that stopped people from getting started.
This doesn’t affect everyone.
There are some self starters out there who decide they want to get into real estate…
…and then J.F.D.I.!
So what is it that stops some very capable professionals from diving in and getting started in real estate?
Took me a while to understand it.
But here’s what could be going on.
It’s a fear of revealing ignorance.
If you have achieved a high level of professional achievement, then reputation, credibility, and competence will be one way you define yourself.
And that usually comes with a level of status, which is a very powerful human driver.
So when faced with a new environment, new skills, new knowledge and a completely different way of earning money…
…one that can build substantial wealth…
…there’s a deep seated fear of appearing less than competent.
The fear of having gaps in knowledge exposed is terrifying to some.
Why?

Because it threatens their very identity as a competent, capable human being.
Which is why people engage in endless research.
It makes them feel like they’re “doing real estate”.
But it also shields them from appearing “stooopid” because they’re not doing anything that can be deemed a “mistake”
Call it pride…
…call it insecurity.
It doesn’t matter.
It’s still crippling some people’s ability to get started in real estate.
It’s a problem that’s made even worse if they try and do it all on their own.
Which is why I am such a believer in the power of community.
Imagine a supportive, non-judgemental community full of people just like you.
That's why I created the Gator Community.
Outsiders think I’m selling a training course.
What they don’t realize is I am really building a community.
One that creates a safe environment for people to learn real estate investing…
…and get really GOOD at it.
But here’s what the outsiders don’t understand:
The community is where real estate deals are done.
Gators do deals with other Gators.
Everyone helps everyone else.
Everyone WINS!
And very quickly people develop their own expertise, credibility and standing in the community…
…and a good side hustle income which becomes a full time income for many too,
All because they learnt a few simple skills and got good at them in a safe and supportive environment.
So if you’re stuck on the fence while you “research”.
Or if you know deep down you have a fear of getting things wrong and appearing ignorant.
Then come and check out what The Gator Method (and its vibrant supportive community) can do for you.
There’s a free training on Saturday at 12pm EST.
It explains all you need to know.
You’ll kick yourself you held back for so long.
See you there.

P.S. One of the other magnifying factors in the success of Gator apart from the power of the community is this:
It’s widely known as the quickest, easiest and safest way to get started in real estate for ANYONE…
…especially professional people struggling with the grind of a 50, 60 or even 70 hour work week.
