?? When we approach sales from the position of being a useful addition to someone’s life, it redirects the energy of the yucky old way of selling and ensures that you are being received true to your intentions.?
This week, we are layering on one of the best pieces of advice I’ve received in my 20+ career in sales.?????
For a brief and infinitely impactful few years I had the privilege of being mentored by one of the most respected entrepreneurial coaches in the world and he said….
“Tara, if you want to be successful…ask great questions”?
Over time this would become the guiding voice in my head. I started to recognize Great Questions when I heard them and I noticed when I would stumble onto a Great Question by the way the person being asked would stop and think before formulating an answer.?
Great Questions open the door to the most vulnerable part of ourselves, create trust, earn respect and inspire action.
Asking yourself “how can I be useful today” is an example of a Great Question.?
Now, let’s loop this back around to sales because that’s why you’re here, right??????
