How do you solve a problem like, ‘Everything is a priority and I have no idea where to start or how to fix this problem?’?

All around us, I see the same thing; companies and departments overwhelmed with workload. They lack resources and manpower, and operate by putting out little fires everywhere….but don’t actually take the time to put the steps in place that would prevent the fires from happening.??

Sound familiar??

This is often what happens when recruitment (and retention) is pushed further and further to the bottom of the priority list. Not having the right people in place means that you cannot move forward at the speed required in today’s markets, and as a result, staff are burnt out, work gets dropped and confidence in your business is low.?

It’s a vicious cycle that’s means you end up losing out.?

You must take a step back, or at least come to a stand still sometimes, to be able to move forward in a productive and impactful way.?

Of course, not all businesses are running like this. It’s the ones that set clear guidelines and expectations around the speed in which processes move forward are the ones reaping the rewards.?
