QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
The moment will arrive when you are comfortable with who you are, and what you are- bald or old or fat or poor, successful or struggling- when you don't feel the need to apologise for anything or to deny anything. To be comfortable in your own skin is the beginning of strength.

THIS WEEK'S TRAINING:
The Secret To Being Comfortable In Your Own Skin
Think back to your school days and remember the popular child the one whom others were desperate to be seen with, but who never seemed concerned if they were liked or not.?
Contrast it with the pupil who was craving to be liked, who tried too hard and tagged on to groups but was always on the outside.
The difference is a level of confidence driven by being comfortable in their own skin. Even from an early age, we recognise the attractiveness of the person who is secure in their value.
How do I become comfortable in my own skin???
The best way to do this is to make sure your emotional needs are being met.
In Maslow's hierarchy of human needs...
... Emotional needs are love and belonging and self-esteem.
When these needs are met subconsciously or consciously we feel secure and comfortable in our own skins.
However, many people aren't aware of their emotional needs and jump from safety and security to self-actualisation (doing what you love) and then don't understand why they're still not happy.
Whatever your external world is like If your emotional needs aren't being met you'll feel out of sorts, apathetic and as if something is missing from your life.

What are my emotional needs???
What we need emotionally and how we need it to be met is individual to us and driven by our values and personality.

The secret is to work out what makes you feel loved. Time spent with good friends or a thoughtful gift from your partner. When you know what it is you can tell your partner, family and friends because what we need is individual.
To help you work out what your needs are and if they're being met, consider each of these questions:
If you answer no to any of these it might be an area where your need isn't being met.
We have a lot of emotional needs but the most common and impactful ones are:
Once you have identified which of your needs aren't being met you can create possible actions to help you feel fulfilled.
And that is when you start to feel comfortable in your own skin and will draw in people who want to be around you.
