The Secret Behind Every Spy Story
We all know RA&W, CIA, KGB, and MI6, but while reading a book on "Mossad," an intelligence agency of Israel, I have come to know how it has gained significance across the globe. They have executed the most dangerous operations in Arab Peninsula.
But, unfortunately, we don't know about these intelligence stories until someone in the government tells us or an intelligence operation fails. The success of intelligence agencies depends on how well the country is doing when its spying network ensures internal and external security.
Spying stories and espionage ops fascinate everyone equally, from youngsters to old ones. But only a few people manage to get selected for intelligence operations or voluntarily dive into this business. It is pretty well known that large audiences find it interesting to watch spy thriller movies and web series. There is a reading group that enjoys reading spy stories. For example, some of the epics include James Bond movies, Sherlock Holmes, and web series like SPY, FAUDA, Special Ops, and Family Man.
On the other hand, most movies and webseries are based on true events and earn well. Those who work in this field, whether at a desk or in the field, are true heroes who go unnoticed. Ordinary people never know them and can't express to themselves that they have been part of some spying activities.
All my tributes to those unsung heroes who have lost their lives, family, friends, and the comfort of their life for national security. One should never forget their sacrifices and always remember that some anonymous people work relentlessly in strange situations.
