Secondary Student Entrepreneurs Make Their Mark at Bloom Learning Center

The Young Entrepreneur of the Year (YEY!) award winners had an enriching experience at Bloom Learning Center, where they toured the facility and worked alongside the center’s staff.

Noora Saad, one of the Year 8 NAISAK students who attended the experience, shared, “My experience at Bloom Learning Center was amazing. Ms. Eman gave us a tour, showing us the classrooms, kids' area, kitchen, and reception. After that, we got straight to brainstorming ideas to advertise the center.”

Throughout the day, the students used their entrepreneurial skills to develop strategies for promoting the center’s tutoring sessions and Saturday activities. Afta Nurshafana said, “This experience helped me unlock many entrepreneurial skills. Ms. Eman showed us around the center, and I was impressed by how advanced everything looked. We spent hours working on ways to promote the center, and I loved the whole experience.”

Also, the students had fun working on creative projects like designing flyers to boost the center’s visibility.

Year 9 student Karthikeya Batlanki reflected, “I was given the unforgettable opportunity to visit Bloom Learning Center. We learned a lot about how learning centers work, and we had a lot of fun, too. The encouragement from Ms. Eman and Ms. Amna, made the experience even better.”

The day was a great learning opportunity, giving them the chance to apply their ideas in a real-world setting and help bring more students and families to Bloom Learning Center.

Ms. Eman Saad, the manager at Bloom Learning Center, expressed her gratitude to the students and NAISAK for their excellent ideas and collaboration saying; “the students did really well in the brainstorming session. The aim of our center is to provide activities and tutoring sessions for students in their age group and to hear their ideas and allow them to apply them through our marketing efforts made all the difference; not only for the center but also for the students’ support to the community.”
