Second year funding from Intel
I am pleased to announce that the OASiS group involving UC, WSU, UD, and University of Miami-Ohio, in collaboration with 11 partner institutions in Ohio received an incremental $1,15M from Intel to continue the workforce development needed for the new facility they are building next to Columbus. Last year, we had over 270 students registered to take the micro-credentials on clean-room training we developed during our first year support. We will now expand our micro-credentials portfolio to cover the talent pathway/skills responding to Intel's needs for a large workforce in the area of semiconductor manufacturing, devices, and circuits.
