The Second Wife Episode 7

The time is 1am. Everywhere was dark. It was one of those nights when NEPA took their light and left households in total darkness. Lily likes the fact that the environment was dark because it gave her cover to do what she wanted to do that night.

It was a huge risk but she was prepared to take it. She wanted a child of her own now more than ever. She knew it would be difficult to find her way into her husband's heart if she fails to bear him a child.

The fact that Nina came into the house and immediately became pregnant made Lily's life a living hell. She was thinking her husband would still love and treat her with respect if Nina bore him a child, but she was mistaken. Instead, Ofor has turned his heart away from her. This greatly made her sad and she was prepared to turn the table against Nina, no matter what it takes.

That night, she stepped into the darkness and headed to the boys quarters in the compound. She located the driver's room and gently knocked at the door. Already, the driver knew that Nina usually visits him in the night, so he did not hesitate to open the door. However, when he opened the door and shinned the touch light on his phone, it was Lily he saw. He was surprised and he wanted to talk, but Lily quickly entered the room and personally locked the door tightly.

"Good evening ma. Good morning ma." The driver said. He didn't know how to handle the situation, so he decided to start with greetings. He even stammered with the greeting as he didn't know if it was morning or night. He tried to compose himself but he couldn't. Lily, who was on a mission, decided to help calm the driver down.

"Calm down. I know you were expecting to see Nina, but I'm the one you are seeing. I'm here for the same reason. You have to attend to me the same way you service Nina." Lily said. There were no chairs in the driver's room, so she sat on the bed and started feeling at home. The driver was surprised by her calm behaviour.

"I don't understand ma. Nina has never visited my room in the night and don't know what you are talking about. I will not service you. You are not a car." The driver said, trying to defend himself, not knowing that Lily had all the secrets in her fingertips.

"My dear, there's no need to tell lies. I have the entire secrets in my phone. Just relax, I'm not going to tell anyone about your secrets with Nina. I know that you have been eating honey with her. You have been servicing her. I also know that you are the one who got her pregnant. You are the father of the child she is carrying in her womb. I'm aware that the two of you are dating and that she was the one who recommended you for this job. My dear, I know everything about your dealings with Nina. It's better for you to keep calm and cooperate with me, or else, I will expose everything to my husband. You know the the consequences if I open my mouth and tell my husband. You have to do as I say if you want me to keep quiet." Lily tells the driver who was standing hands akimbo.

"What evidence do you have? I have never serviced Nina and I have never seen her bottle of honey. Have you ever seen me with Nina? I'm only her driver and not her boyfriend and I'm not the mechanic that services her car every night. Please, you better leave my room immediately. I don't want anyone to see you in my room at this time of the night. Please, leave my room." The driver said. He sounded very serious, but Lily came prepared. She called his bluff.

"I'm not going anywhere and you are going to do as I say. Come closer, let me show you something." Lily said with a mischievous smile. When the driver drew closer to her, she played the video in her phone, showing him when he was eating honey with Nina. The driver was shocked beyond words and didn't know how to respond again. He became quite and even shivered in fear.

"Please ma, have you shown anyone this video? I'm finished if you show it to Oga. I will be sacked from my job and I might even go to jail. Please, I will do anything you want me to do. Just don't expose my secret to my boss." The driver said. He even knelt down to beg Lily who was by then lying down on the bed.

"You don't have to worry yourself. I will not tell anyone so far as you act according to my instructions. Just be a good boy and your problem is solved." Lily said.

"What should I do ma? Just say it and I will do it." The driver asked.

"I want you to get me pregnant. I want to carry my own child. I want to start eating honey with you beginning from this night." Lily said. She was looking directly into the driver's face, with the touch light on her phone pointing on his face.

"I'm sorry, I can't do that. I can't service your car engine. No way! I don't want to have problems with Oga." The driver said.

"Okay, let me go and show him the video in my phone." Lily said as she stood up from the bed and started leaving.

"No! No! No ma. Wait! I will do it." The driver responded out of fear. Lily turned back. They both went to the bed and the driver brought out his spanner and started work.

When they were done, it was already 2am in the morning. Lily put herself together and started leaving the room. However, when she opened the door, she saw Nina standing there.
