Second round of funding for NSF-IUCRC CHEST

Dear All

I am pleased to report that under the leadership of Marty Emmert, Director of the NSF Industry-University Collaborative Research Center (IUCRC) for Hardware and Embedded Systems Security And Thrust, The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) at the University of Cincinnati received $1,915M in their second round of funding working with their university partners (Northeastern University, University of Texas at Dallas, Univ. of California Davis, George Washington University, and University of Connecticut). The total funds received by UC were $695K, bringing the total of research funding for the EECS Department for the academic year over the $7M target set last summer. All the proposals submitted by UC investigators were founded! Congrats to all!
