Second Indian Filmmaker since 1974 to make the cut for the AFI's Directing Workshop for Women.

Only 3% of applicants are accepted into the American Film Institute's - Directing Workshop for Women and I'm one of 8 filmmakers to be chosen this year but THE CHALLENGE DOESN'T END HERE!! There's still so much more to be achieved!

We have to gear up to do a month long intensive program in May, and shoot my short film, I SEE YOU, in June. It's a dramatic thriller about the futility of war and terrorism and explores the state of mind of a suicide bomber who has a change of heart.

As part of the program we are required to raise at least $30,000. We're putting in a substantial amount and crowd funding the rest! I've never crowd funded before, so I know this is not going to be easy, but I'm determined to make this happen. Don't hesitate to donate a small amount. EVERY bit counts!

All donations may be used towards tax deductions in the U.S as AFI is a non-profit org.
