Second Call: EENergy – €10,000 Grants for energy savings in SMEs
Enterprise Europe Network - Ireland
Helping ambitious SMEs grow internationally.
EENergy is an EU-funded initiative offering grants of €10,000 to 900 SMEs across Europe to help them implement energy-saving measures and lower their carbon footprints. With a total funding pool of €9 million, EENergy aims to support SMEs in tackling the challenges of climate change, the ongoing energy crisis, and the objectives of the EU Green Deal.
The EENergy grants are designed to boost energy efficiency in SMEs. The funding can be applied toward consultancy services, process improvements, or investments in areas such as business models, operational procedures, buildings, and production lines. The goal is to achieve energy savings of at least 5%, which must be demonstrable through the funded projects.
The second open call for EENergy grants welcomes applications from SMEs registered and fully operational in countries participating in the EU’s Single Market Programme as of 01 January 2024. Applications from SMEs in energy-intensive industries are particularly welcome. The grants are fully funded and do not require repayment.
